Performance Driver Coaching

Our Performance Driver Coaching at K1 Circuit Winchester provides personalized, custom one-on-one instruction to help you become a better go-kart racer.

Use your kart or one of our OTL E Pro Karts during your instruction.

NOTE: There is a required $100 upcharge if using your own gas-powered kart. 

 

Requirements:

 

One must be a K1 Circuit Bronze or Silver License holder for these our Performance Driver Coaching classes.

Semi-Pro Driver Training

 

Track Layout: Pro Track

 

Includes:

  • Customized coaching to your skill level and knowledge
  • Track layout instruction
  • Corners explained: turn-in, apex, braking zones
  • Instruction to decrease lap time and increase minimum speed
  • Vision and mental skills
  • Practice techniques
  • Four 8-minute on-track practice sessions (includes two lead/follow sessions with instructor)
  • Three 15-minute classroom sessions

Level 3

Accelerated Driver Training

 

Track Layout: Pro Track

 

Includes:

  • Customized coaching to your skill level and knowledge
  • Track layout instruction
  • Corners explained: turn-ins, apexes, braking zones
  • Instruction to decrease lap time and increase minimum speed
  • Vision and mental skills
  • Practice techniques & race craft
  • Data acquisition on the kart with analysis for breaking down the track in sectors. You will keep the data when the instruction is finished.
  • Four 8-minute on-track practice sessions (includes two lead/follow sessions with instructor)
  • Three 15-minute classroom sessions

Kyle Hayner

 

Born into a racing family, speed has always been in Kyle Hayner’s blood. Through his career as a performance driver on tracks all over the world, he discovered his passion for instructing. Since 2008, his experience at schools such as Redline Time Attack and the BMW Performance Driving School inspired him to build a driver development program to give racers, new and experienced, a clear step-by-step process to becoming a driver capable of competing and beating the best. Having worked for some of the biggest names in the United States karting industry, Hayner created HRT Driver Development to teach passionate racers how to become champions.

 

Since HRT Driver Development’s inaugural campaign in 2018 they have had 26 different winners, 15 first-time winners, and a whole lot of hardware.

KC Cook & Precision Driving Concepts

 

Precision Driving Concepts offers comprehensive kart racing instruction, building champions from age 5 to adult. Under the guidance of KC Cook and his expert coaching roster, many young drivers have advanced from karting to national-level competition, sports cars, and open-wheel ladder series. Whether you’re exploring arrive-and-drive karting or competing at a professional level, they provide serious, competitive coaching with a constant reminder to enjoy the journey.

Mathias Coito

 

Mathias Coito is an up-and-coming kart racing driver, known for his impressive versatility across multiple classes like KZ Pro Shifter, FZ125, and KA100. He’s driven for top teams including Mad Croc, Croc Promotion, AK USA, and HRT Development Group, earning podium finishes and top qualifying times. Mathias has competed in notable events like the Superkarts! USA ProKart Challenge, with multiple championships to his name, including the S5 Shifter and KZ Pro Shifter titles.
