Two-Race Package: A Taste of Real Outdoor Go-Kart Racing

K1 Circuit’s Cadet Mini Grand Prix package gives your kids a taste of what real outdoor go-kart racing is like!

First, they’ll receive everything they need to go racing, including a pair of high-quality K1 RaceGear karting gloves, a K1 Circuit headsock, and free use of our rental abrasion-resistant karting suits and DOT-approved race helmets.

Then, they’ll race around our North or South track* for two race sessions:

  • One 10-minute qualifying session: This session is all about racing the clock versus racing their friends on track, as they’ll try to set the fastest lap time they can out there. The faster they are in this session, the better chance they have at winning in the next race. Don’t worry about the “qualifying” term – every kid will qualify for the race! This will only determine their starting position for the final race.

  • One 10-minute final race:  After qualifying, the kids will line up on our grid in the same order they finished our qualifying session, with the fastest drivers at the front and the slower drivers towards the back. They’ll then race for position on the track, passing any driver in front of them until they get to the front. The driver who sees the checkered flag first after 10 minutes will be the winner!

After each race, the kids will receive a personalized timing sheet with their track session information. At the end of the final race, the top three finishers will stand on our podium and receive a custom K1 Circuit medal based on their position.

* Track layout subject to availability.

Three-Race Package: For a True Racing Experience!

K1 Circuit’s Cadet Grand Prix package gives the kids the full racing experience, with three on-track sessions: practice, qualifying, and a final race for position.

Kids will receive everything that is included in our Mini Grand Prix package, such as gloves, headsocks, and use of our rental safety equipment. They will also get the 10-minute qualifying and 10-minute final race, but with an extra third race at the beginning:

  • One 10-minute practice session: With our practice session, kids will be able to familiarize themselves with the go-karts and the track without the pressure of setting a fast lap time. This session is all about getting used to the world of outdoor go-kart racing. That said, we will still time each kid so they can see where they stand among their friends before it starts to matter in qualifying.
