Our competitive racing league pits you against the fastest drivers at K1 Circuit Winchester for a one-of-a-kind racing experience. Plus, this series is non-committal and affordable to join! Pick the races you want to join, or do them all for a better shot at the title!

Requirements
All drivers in the K1 Circuit Semi-Pro Senior Series must be at least 18 years old and possess a Silver License from K1 Circuit to compete. (Qualification review up to management discretion.)
You can only run ONE class (L or H) – you will be asked to declare which class you are racing in for points.
*The driver’s weight will only include the driver and approved safety gear only. Use of weight ballast on the kart or driver is not allowed. Pockets, rib vests, and neck collars will be checked for ballast weight before weigh-in.
Current K1 Speed employees are ineligible to compete in the Semi-Pro Series.

SEASON FORMAT
QUALIFYING FORMAT
-
Drivers run two separate 8-minute qualifying sessions.
-
Your fastest lap from either session is used for grid position.
-
Only the single fastest driver overall earns +1 qualifying bonus point.
-
No points are awarded for P2 or P3 in qualifying.
RACING FORMAT
- The final race will consist of a 10-lap race for position and will begin as a rolling start.
- There will only be ONE rolling start! No restarts are allowed.
- If a racer causes an intentional or avoidable incident (crash, spin-out, etc.) that results in loss-of-position for the other driver, then the racer-at-fault is sent to the back of the grid. The innocent driver will resume the race from wherever they rejoined the field. (e.g.: if they were second and drop back to fifth as a result of the incident, they’ll continue in fifth position, not second).
- New drivers will be evenly distributed within qualifying groups.
RACE POINTS (FINAL RACE OF EACH EVENT)

1st place = 150 points

2nd place = 147 points (3-point gap from 1st)

From 3rd place downward, points drop by 2 points per position.

Minimum points = 1 point for all remaining finishers.

SEASON TOTAL & DROP ROUND

You can race all 11 rounds, but only your best 10 count.

The lowest scoring round (DNF, bad race, missed event, etc.) is automatically removed.
TIEBREAKERS
If drivers finish the season with the same total points, positions are decided by:

Tiebreakers are based ONLY on final race results — not qualifying times.
RESULTS & STANDINGS

Race results and standings are posted online after each round.

Standings automatically update based on points, drop rounds, and tiebreakers.

Drivers can follow their progress throughout the season.
MECHANICAL ISSUES
- There will be no switching of karts at anytime during qualifying unless there is a mechanical failure or accident, which caused damage to a kart.
- There will be no switching of karts during a final race unless there is a severe mechanical failure.
Racers are responsible for any damages to kart.
